Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account, placing an order, writing a review, joining a waitlist, or contacting support. This includes your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, account and order identifiers, product interactions, an optional push-notification token, and limited crash diagnostics when crash reporting is configured. Card details are entered in CyberSource's hosted payment form and are not received or stored by Shoeroom. Store-locator coordinates are used on your device to sort nearby stores and are not sent to Shoeroom.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process orders, send order confirmations and shipping updates, improve our website and services, personalize your shopping experience, and send promotional communications (with your consent).
Data Security
We use encrypted connections and access controls to protect your data. Card payments are processed in CyberSource's hosted payment form. Shoeroom does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-company tracking. We disclose only the data needed to trusted processors: CyberSource for card payments, Bosta for delivery, Prism/RP9 for order and inventory operations, identity providers when you choose social sign-in, and Sentry for redacted crash diagnostics when configured. We may also disclose data when Egyptian law requires it.
Cookies and Device Storage
The website uses necessary cookies. The app stores your authentication token and checkout draft in secure device storage, and stores cart, wishlist, language, recent-view and preference data locally. Removing the app clears app-local data; server account and order data follow the retention rules below.
Your Rights
You may access or correct profile data from My Account and delete your account from My Account > Delete Account. You may also submit a deletion request through Shoeroom's account-deletion web page or contact hello@shoeroom.com.eg. Transaction records may be retained only when required for accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, or Egyptian law.
